If a Student Blogs in the Forest, Would Anybody Read it?

Why Blogging?  Well, why not?  It's a great collaborative tool.  It can close gaps of mighty miles an d distances.  It can open up a dialogue that might not have had a platform prior.  Blogs can create safe havens to learn and ask questions.  Blogs can make the reader feel less isolated and part of a larger community of educators and learners.  That can encourage a more open experience and a better understanding.  "I didn't understand that concept and neither did that person."   And along comes an in-the-know Blogger able to shed some light.

Resistance is Futile

Let's face it:  technology is here to stay.  All we can do is catch up and stay current.  Fighting it is futile. The best way to incorporate technology into education is preparation, implementation, and execution.  Blogs utilize technology and supplement traditional classroom teachings.  So.here we go.
